What you'll be doing
- Construct scenic elements from timber, sheet materials and modular components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans
- Work to tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of finish
- Safely operate power and hand tools
- Collaborate with other trades and departments on site
What you need
- Proven set construction or similar carpentry experience
- Strong understanding of scenic carpentry techniques
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem solving and attention to detail
- Local to Maldon, Essex or able to reliably commute
